The Village of Tichborne
The village has a pub (the Tichborne Arms) and a cricket team. The village community, is significantly agricultural, although in recent years others have settled here. The number of young families is growing.
The centre of the village is near the pub and the church, but there are, in addition, out-lying areas at Ladycroft, Sevington and Longwood.
There is a large agricultural show and game fair every September in Tichborne Park . In March there is the annual ceremony of the .Tichborne dole whereby the Tichborne family provide flour to local villagers in memory of Lady Mabella Tichborne.
