The Benefice sits astride the A272, 8 miles east of Winchester, 12 miles west of Petersfield and adjacent to the town of New Alresford. It is within an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty and on the edge of the newly created South Downs National Park. This map shows the location of the Rectory for the Benefice, in Cheriton (opposite The Flower Pots Inn)
THE PARISHES
Parish of Beauworth
The church is located next to the village hall
in the centre of the hamlet of Beauworth.
Parish of Bramdean
The church is located at the end of a cul-de-sac lane off the A272 - signposted to the church.
Parish of Cheriton
The church is located in the centre of the village close to, and on the same side of the road as, the village hall - up the church path between the hedges.
The Church in the Woods
The church is located on Bramdean Common - set off from the road but just visible in the woods, and the church noticeboard is set beside the road.
Parish of Hinton Ampner
The church is located with the grounds of Hinton Ampner National Trust House - access to the church is via the back entrance to House & Gardens from Hinton Ampner village (no access to the public to NT House & Gardens from this entrance)
Parish of Kilmeston
The church is located down the first lane to the left as you enter Kilmeston from A272 - the church is then on your right
Parish of Tichborne
The church is located up the steep hill (cul-de-sac road) overlooking the village of Tichborne
