The Village Community
Beauworth does not have a Parish Council but has a Parish Meeting which meets annually and through the Chairman of which the village is represented in its dealings with other bodies.
The Village Hall is run by a Committee, which organises the village fête in aid of the Hall and of the Church on the second Saturday in June at The Milbury’s. Other events organised by the Committee include the annual Harvest Supper, Quiz Nights and Wine Tastings. The Hall is regularly used by the Bridge Club and, having recently been extended and refurbished, it has excellent kitchen facilities, making it an ideal venue for parties and meetings.
In addition to the bar, The Milbury’s has a restaurant, a skittle alley, a well and a donkey wheel. Bar snacks and restaurant meals are available. Special events such as a Bonfire Night firework display are organised from time to time.
